Conservation Society tidies up an eyesore 17th March 2012

Prior to Saturday, 17th March this is what everyone using Henbury Road at the mini-roundabout junction with Station Road saw: –

The area was transformed as you can see below although the five large contractors bags stuffed with brushwood had to be taken down to the Recycling Centre. Charles Claxton and Bob Porter undertook this requiring 3 trips on Sunday morning. Tim Parkinson used his boat trailer to deliver the larger timber to the same destination. Here is the result: –

    • No easy answer, Kim. Vigilance as we pass by and rapid clearance of anything dumped is the best I can suggest and we have a good offer to do this which I will not publicise further!
